"Sailor" (Original) - Cilla Chan

MY FIRST ORIGINAL ON YOUTUBE! Wrote this when I was in 10th grade in high school (which is now 5-6 years ago GEEZ). One of my really good friends Emily Brotman wrote a gorgeous poem about confessing to and facing your insecurities and being a "Sailor" and being able to pilot your own journey in life :) At the time we were both facing a lot of pressure in high school... lots of mental breakdowns (hence the 'saltwater' tears :P) but the song is more about realizing that all of the effort will be worth it at the end and love restores us at the end of the day.

So I sort of re-wrote it and turned it into a song which I performed for the first time on Singapore's POWER98. Decided to put it up for all those who've been requesting an original. Will be putting up more soon!
