This is just a rough, ROUGH example of how the Millennium Falcon's turrets can be brought to attention a bit better during the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. Footage from Adywan's A New Hope: Revisited is incorporated. Enjoy.

  • I never did understand how the turrets worked in relation to the gunner's positions, but that's just me. I mean, where are the guns and through what plane do they rotate/elevate, and where are the gunners seated?

  • Funny enough the producers actually did recreate the Falcon's turret gun set for ROTJ and apparently filmed some scenes in it., but they never made it into the final cut of the film.

  • Good idea :)

I know we're gonna get TESB:R around May next year, but I seriously cannot wait to see what Ady does with Return of the Jedi.

  • I liked it. Sure was ROUGH, though! Haha. ;)

The second shot of the turret worked especially well. It shows such a fast glimpse that you can't even tell it's not a ROTJ gunner in the seat.
