  • In the real world, when under suppressive fire, you experience high levels of fear. In games, when under suppressive fire, you just think "Oh, someone is shooting a lot... yawn... let me go this other way" or you just run around the fire. So, this type of mod, or effect, attempts to model what happens to a person in the real world when under heavy fire.

  • But how do you implement fear into a game? The point is to encourage the player to get away. In most games, people just look down the stream of bullets and aim for the AR gunner and take him out. By using a blurring effect, you eliminate that possibility.

  • what you get suppressed for the rest of the round after that? what a piece of shit idea.

  • bf3 stole your mod

  • @desetnik15second Yes,every single weapon has this effect.. if you get shot even by a Pea-shooter like the MP5 "9mm SMG" you still get down so you dont get shot at.

the point of this effect is to force people take cover instead of just firing back like every single FPS,also.. in real life there's a lot of concrete, and when concrete is hit it's just like a mini-grenade exploding.. you would get hurt even if a round don't hit you directly.

  • @Razorback613 OK for lMG but not for every fuckin weapon in-game.

  • How do i remove that effect? I only play lan because i have no time for long multiplayer matches

  • @Razorback613 First I would probably be dead, so I counld not tell you, second if I did live then I would tell you I would be scared (but then again I would not know, becuase I have not been under LMG fire before, so this is just a guess and as started, "depends on the person" thus not referring to myself). Also some people have diffrent reactions to things, who knows they could be pumped up on adrenaline, so there are to many varibales to account for.

  • @happygamestvfun1 Tell me that the next time you are under fire from a LMG. ;)

  • @Razorback613 Depends on the person tho....

  • when being supressed your aim is blurry so aiming is harder.
