The monkey is a shot at ED cause sammy felt he was being manipulated by Ray Daniels at the time, it really didn't have anything to do with the Darwin Monkey or at least I've never heard that.

it is Huey Lewis on harmonica and it's also slash on the rcok guitar parts and some country dude on the dorbo or slide at the begining.

AH, well I was just making an edumucated guess with the monkey Darwin OU812 thing. The slide guy's name is Roy Rogers. You can find a short clip of Sammy and Roy playing this song on Letterman.

love this video, I love the "evil" sammy and the "good" one, the dark one and the white one...it's just a great video. If you watch it's Sam's mom that's getting her purse stolen. Coulda done without the whole monkey playing the guitar but whatever.

I guess the monkey bit was a take on the 0U812's Darwin photo theme. Again, this was Sammy at his most bitter with EVH, I doubt he'd do something like that again. Thanks for the info on Sammy's mom's cameo, I keep learning new things about this song/video every time I check the comments. You red rocker fans are awesome!
