Recorded live at the Cabooze in Minneapolis, September 26, 1981.
The band had just returned from a five week tour supporting the release of "Credit In Heaven" and this was the release party and their first gig back home. The band played two sold out nights. Twin/Tone taped the second night. Visit Twin/Tone at twintone.com.
Michael Halliday just rocks the octaves way too hard. I'm still trying to play "Music for Boys" on time. It's not happening.

I once got fired from a job in '83... I didn't show up, because I chose the Cabooze for the umpteenth time to party w the 'Burbs. So glad I did!
Always was a 2 night stand there (Fri/Sat)...as it was at Duffy's, St. Croix Boom Company, etc. Bar owners LOVED those liquor sales that burbs fans brought.

So great to see again. I had the privilege of introducing Beej and Michael to Frank Zappa!!! However, Bruce was my Suburbs contact as far as speaking after any gig or anytime I saw him. He knew I was a muscian and actually treated me like an equal musician. I was not in his league but he will always be my brother. RIP bro.

I went to every Suburbs show possible from 1981 onwards--if not, then we played their albums at parties--the best band in MPLS at the time--
