How To: Fix a frozen or slow iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad

If you're having issues with your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, simply try this hard reset.

Symptoms that include a unit not powering up, or just a laggy device can sometimes be temporarily fixed via this reset. Like a computer, these devices need to be restarted occasionally to perform better.

Nice tutorial found it after uploading my own but DFU mode and Recovery are two different modes.

DFU mode makes the iPod files editable while there not running so it doesn't damage anything important.

Recovery is strictly for restoring the device through iTunes
