U2 on a community centre rooftop in inner-city Dublin in July 1982, a free and unannounced gig they did for the locals' Inner City Looking On festival. The chap at the beginning is a man with a few pints on board who twice wandered onto the stage, such as it was, wanting to sing. The picture was taken at the gig by Christine Bond and will be removed if she objects to its use.

I was there in the hazy rain that night behind the stage area (backstage, he he), I could just see silhouettes through the canvas covering, i was 9 yrs old and wasn't sure if it was U2 or UB40 but the "U" stood out and few yrs later found out who for sure. Wow! brillant, now I go to Munich next Tue to see them...not backstage though :(

great days, U2 were great at popping up at Sherriffer or Sean mac Dermott st at the Diamond, now i see them play in Sydney , amazing!
