please don't use words like NEVER, because then you will ALWAYS be wrong :D
elton had written the music, melody, and even much of the lyrics of 'sorry seems to be the hardest word' FIRST, and then gave it to bernie to help finish up the lyrics

This lyrics was written by Gary Osborne, who work in the opposite way as Bernie...
