@Felanize But he chose to return because of a sense of respect and duty to not even let a man like Marsellus suffer such a humiliating and terrible fate. The sword was perfect.

@Felanize You're missing the point of the scene. The samurai sword is thematically more fitting as it's a weapon tied to honor and duty. Butch could have easily walked off and let this man die.
