Ark - Burn the Sun bass cover

I decided to make some videos about playing somewhat difficult songs on bass. My point was to show how would I play the song live. My other goal is to show certain people examples of techniques and ways of using the instrument that I do, and none of the songs are played perfectly (some missing notes and/or lack in the rythmic patterns for a very short time). So it doesn't mean it has to be played like this, and it doesn't mean that the original band played/plays it like I do. But it's close :) Comments/questions are welcome.

My attempt playing Burn the Sun: tuned to Db A D G. I had no other idea how to go that low, since Randy Coven uses 4 string basses AND an open string under the solo. This band and Randy Coven also are examples of my all-time favourites, and other Ark songs can be expected soon :).
Originally the song was recorded with a fretless bass, but I don't have one (yet), instead of waiting for it I tried to mix a similar sound.
The bass solo on the original is absolutley too hard to catch, but it's something like this one.
After watching this video, I realized that at the end of the guitar solo I play a major 7th instead of a 1st :) It doesn't sound that bad, and I didn't want to edit that now.

The Arc! finally! Love it bro, I really like The Arc's "Burn the Sun". I like your bass playing very much. Heel the waters! Is that a Washburn? I have a Warwick and a Stingray 5. And a Jazz Bass and a ... fuck it. What matters is the fingers! That coin dropping on the first music of the album... Nice cover dude.
