  • How fascinating. Yes, Rumi didn't belong to anywhere or any tribe. He belonged to the nature.

  • y u hisitate beloved,,,when u know lives r n danger

  • Maulana celalledin Hoca or Mevlana Cellaledin rumi was born in khorasan(afghanistan) and then moved to Konya(turkey, anatolia) from where he lived and wrote all his works until he died , his mausaleum is also there

  • Rumi was a tajik-sunni-persian from khorasan or today known as Afghanistan. All of his works has been written in Dari-persian. he has nothing to do wth today's irani shia nation or current state of iran who claims the whole of persia's history which funny...its appropriate for turkish to be proud of Rumi caz he lived in konya most of his life, like most of afghans today.....iran has claimed all of afghanistan's empires, poets, language etc.caz we r in war for 30 yrs...soon we wil take care of it.

  • @rollingklouds ... reveal it over it, the seas would dry up, if I reveal it over them, the fire would extinguish, If I reveal it... Its Qaseeda-e-Ghousia, reciting it over n over, in a specific order reveals its secrets. Its still recited by Qadris. The king of saints, among saints is Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani n this Qaseeda is pure poetry. He is also one of the greatest scholars of Islam n perhaps Shah Shams(ra) also got enlightened through his light that he received from the Prophet(saw).

  • @rollingklouds For many not, but it has to do a great deal with Islam. The Wahabis don't agree but the truth is:

    Islam is > Shariat + Tariqat(Sufism)

The goal is > Ma'arfat(To see the hidden, somewhat) + Haqeeqat(Ultimate truth, Allah)

The goal is "Haqeeqat". The basic chant is "LA ILAAHA ILALAH" ie No God but God. This peom from its words, seem to be close to Ma'arfat but yet not achieved. eg Sheikh Jilani(ra) said in ecstasy: I found it, I'm successful. The dead would rise if I reveal it..

  • @ArmenicaPlus Nopes! To question existence is the key practice of Tassawaf(Sufism). You cannot open a lock, even if you have the key to it, unless you know where the lock is. Zikr is the way out.

  • Just adore this man's words and work. There is a saying by Buddha - "When the Student is ready the Master appears". I could not have read or understood Rumi's work until I got to where I am now. Beautiful, Profound and True. Wonderful clip.

  • Again, according to Dr. Shafii Kadkani, may some lines belong to Rumi, but in the meantime other lines added to it.

  • According to the Dr. Mohammadreza Shafii Kadkani, this poem (the first two minuts) is not belong to Rumi, Even if it is one of the most famous works in Persian literature, and referred to Rumi as a poet, but it is not in any of the old copies of the Divan Shams. In addition, there is a difference in the way of thinking. Questions like "where am I from, and why", is more like Khayam than Rumi.
