My family and I grew up with our father, Laird playing the guitar. We sang old gospel songs, John Prine songs, new country songs, and ones we made up ourselves. Laird has been affected by terrible arthritis in his hands, and that's why I'm learning to play the guitar. I've started to write a lot of songs--some very silly, and some serious--and I created this blog so that my family can interact musically even though we are spread out over several states. You are welcome to listen and enjoy, but please keep any negative comments to yourself. We aren't professional musicians and aren't trying to be, so please be courteous! Thanks, Hurricane Kate
