  • You really aren't suppose to get Mini Rex fur wet. If wet their fur will become curly.I raise and show Mini Rex and if any thing I lightly dampen my hands with WATER (so that water is not dripping off my hands) and rub up and down the fur. Only do this when needed,Rabbits are rather clean animals .Your rabbit is the color called castor.

  • the pedgree says her is a opal

  • very cute

you are not supposed to clean rex rabbits as they have an outer coat and i also agree with below

    very nicee rabbit tho

  • i only did it once...and its was like when i first got him....i like he has already sheded all that fur off

  • thanks....his papers say he is a mini rex

  • As much as it seems good to clean your rabbit, it is not. Many people beleive that you need to wash your rabbit for it to be clean but this is not true. Try licking a baby wipe. It tastes toxic. Because rabbit clean themselfs constantley they would be licking that. Not to mention your cleaning off the natural oils off the rabbits coat which is bad for the fur. So once again, as much as you feel its helping your rabbit, it is doing the opposite.

  • That is not what I meant when I said clean and dress the rabbit.

  • wow ur rabbit is nice and calm

  • Atleast she isnt putting him in a tub of water.

If you get rabbits feet wet and dont dry them off they get sick.

  • just get ur hands damp and sort of "pet" in the opposite direction. it will get all of the loose fur from under neath and bring it to the surface, then pet in the correct direction. thats all i know about bathing rabbits. i heard that catually putting a rabbit in a tub of water can kill them... i also heard that some1 had killed 14 rabbits doing that o.O now that is messed!!

  • Use dry shampoo as opposed to water

  • I'm pretty sure your just supposed to use water... I just wet my hand a bit, and rub my little rex down when shes shedding. And I had to give her a bath (once) in the tub because she was sick, and had urine all over her body. It helped a lot though. Thats the only reason you should give a bunny a bath!!!
