Yes they were; I had a male friend of mine view Jovan, Crave and Jolie to tell me who was REAL and he said hands down that Jovan was the business! He said Jolie looked staged and that Crave was too stiff ~ the body language wasn't coming across right. He said with Jovan, it looked like they were a REAL couple with the way he caressed her, held her, KISSED her, grabbed the bootie like he OWNED her. He said Jovan was real; the rest were just bad connections.

I don't know, on one hand it's so easy to dislike John for what he did to Evangeline... everytime I see him with Natalie I'm on the verge of becoming

But then, all of his scenes with REG were so beautiful! They were perfect for each other. Damn writers! Michael Malone never would have made such a mess of things. sigh.

He never loved Natalie half as much as he did Vang. OLTL had to kill her off so Jolie could happen. I dont care how much the Jolie fans thinks he did, and they fussed and fumed and got their way. But at the end of the day ME never put his heart into any scene with Natalie, even the last days of the show.

When ME was with REG you could tell they enjoyed working together, and the depth that the characters felt.

They both settled , Chris may have said what she wanted to hear but she never gave him her complete heart because she gave it to John. She even adopted his bad habits keeping her feelings to herself like @ the Women of the Year talking with her mother, when talking to Johns bro Mike told her to her face she was acting like John. Thats how Todd got between Chris and Evangeline just like Natalie got between her and John. Evangeline became John thats y in this clip she says she understands.

Well these scenes are electric but I think he shared chemistry with both Vange and Nat. I love REG, she is a beautiful woman and a great actress. This was the best triangle because John was complex and he was in love with both of them for different reasons. I really didn't like Nat for a while because they turned her into a silly disrespectful child. On the flip, John didn't have to keep running after her. He chose to do that and he lost Vange so it's on him.

John will always love Vange. He is a broken man now; he's not happy with Nat. She has nothing to offer him, no substance. He is an empty shell; his eyes speak volumes. Nat only numbs the pain of the loss that John feels. He clung to her neediness while despising his own. He knows that nothing will ever compare to the love he shared with Vange. The memory of her will haunt him. He said to Van, Chris makes you happy, but John knows that Chris will never love her to the depth of soul that he did.

Why is it that whenever these two talk, John always tell her he thinks about her/them. 6 months later he told her he was thinking of her alot. He can't let go.

And her, thoughtful and respectful my eye...she was there soley to check the temperature on John's feelings for her...and yep, they are still as hot as ever.  When he was supposedly killed in that accident and she said she kept his stuff because she thought he was coming back one day. That sheds plenty of light on this visit.
