Boy, this guy Quigley is a piece o' work. His science begins with the axiom that God created life.  (My science ignores God.) His objections seem to rely on earth being 6000 years old too.

His acceptance of Mendel is interesting. Maybe it's because old Gregor was a monk. Quigley is clearly uneducated if well indocrinated. It is disturbing how many people think evolution is bogus though. I wonder what they think about gravity, which is afterall also a theory even though it is labeled a law.
