  • Notice the floor in front of them? NO monitor speakers. They were singing deaf. They literally could not hear themselves sing. Try THAT sometime!

  • @111theflash Are you kidding? The bible was credited to Lennon/McCartney.

  • @verbaud I know WAY too many people who I could say that to

  • @kentaappel Exactly! I've been listening to them since '64. I once had a boss who was so oblivious to the world around him that during a discussion of popular music he actually exclaimed, "The Beatles are overrated. I can't see what the big deal is and Lennon and McCartney are the most overrated songwriters in history!" After hearing that I realized there would be no getting through to him about anything reasonable at all. In a month I was out the door from that job.

  • @switz222 Good point, that is what makes Ringo such an incredible drummer the fact that he kept the timing togther in all the madness of the screaming. He couldn't really fill very much as they couldn't hear each other and the fact that they sang in tune so well much of the time in all of crowd noise is also a great tesatment of how great a band they were.

  • This is real music

  • @nyrainbow4 This document is history!! where did you get it? :)

  • @verbaud And their amps were only 100 watts, and the house PA was maybe that much, if it existed at all. Nowadays, a good garage band can have 250 watt amps and 600 watt PA systems WITH stage monitors. I have a pristine Indonesian CD of the Beatles San Francisco '66 concert that was remixed in the late 80's and it shows what really great musicians they were.

  • The audio is GREAT!!!

  • @jsmyers2415 would it matter if anyone read the freaking bible? Jesus was less heard of back then than now. The Beatles were the most famous people around in the 60's. So John was right but he already apologized if it offended anyone. And plus, no one even knows who wrote the bible and stuff. So does that matter?
