Mit der Austrian Airlines und PilotsEYE.tv ins Land des Lächelns. Erstmalig wird ein Start aus drei Perspektiven gezeigt - aus dem Cockpit, als Beobachter neben der Landebahn und aus dem Tower.

Höhepunkte während des Fluges sind die Erklärungen zum Boeing 777 Cockpit durch AUA-Chefpilot Fritz Strahammer, die zufällige Begegnung mit der Lufthansa 747 über der russichen Taiga sowie die Visualisierung der Flugroute durch "Moving GPS-Tracks" (umgesetzt mit Hilfe von Google Earth).

Wieder festen Boden unter den Füßen, zeigt uns Chefpilot Fritz Strahammer die schönsten Ecken Tokios bevor es am nächsten Tag zurück nach Wien geht.

    yeah, more atmosphere for the sun to travel through, means further light distortion, gets converted into more and more red wavelengths, pretty spectacular.

    767, can tell by the landing gear carriage quite easy, configured in 4 not 6 like the 777.
