This demonstration consists of using various principles within the Maya environment. The example uses the likes of rigid bodies for collision, nParticles with elements of physics and gravity and particles-converted to mesh for the purpose of solidifying these nParticles. A good degree of mental-ray elements such as shaders are also present with regular Hypergraph shaders such as the Phong material (intensively customized for the raspberry juice).

Please take note that the example might also be applicable with use of other Fluid Dynamics software such as RealFlow and Glu 3D that are available for Autodesk Maya. Though steps differ, principle methodology applies across a range of software tools in advanced Fluids Simulation.

This example is part of the Interest Group Curriculum at Yio Chu Kang Secondary School.

  • there is mistake with space scale. simulation is taking value in meters so its showing simulation of water falling from big pipe not teapot. reduce space scale value to 0.1. to get gud result
