This clip was taken from a programme about the sinking of the Hunley Submarine during the American civil war, and the attempts to verify the identities of the skeletal remains of the crew found inside the sub with other known members of their families, sadly I dont have the whole programme on tape now.

@sillyweewee Usually they are pretty rotted away and hard to ID. Their face will pretty much be gone. I've seen images of people who have been dead for a few days and they are bloated and covered in maggots.You could not tell if they were black or white,or any other race for that matter. It's really gross. I'm just glad I'm looking at images and not the actual person. I don't think I could be around a dead body like that.
