the lifts in a shopping centre here do that. The doors open and its still levelling or it will stop and then bounce as the doors open. Its not a well known brand of lift either. Some obscure local company that stuck a new button panel in along with the old ones haha
thyssenkrupp did it on the hotel elevator it went up too far I knnow that because every time I took it up the doors open before it stops and you can see it moving down

It was. It was correcting itself because it went down too far. A parking garagae elevator by me does that, too. Olny schindlers do. It's weird.
