If you know the story well, the lyrics match Sol more than the LA vocals
Sadistic soldier would sound cooler, but he's no where near sadistic, He saw that although she's a gear Sol saw that dizzy wasn't naturally violent and let her live. Another tidbit is that sol is the guilty gear, he him self is the original gear, and feels guilty for what their creation led too; a genocidal war. So in Atonement he kills any Gear he finds.
