Black Sabbath's Masterpiece from the Dehumanizer Album called "Time Machine". 6th Track.
==========================
Oh what are you gonna do
When there's a part of you
That needs to run with the wind

And the fire of burning yesterdays
Can only light the way
To lead you from
The garden of the dark
Stay out of shadows

Now look like the change is on
Tomorrow's never gone
Today just never comes

Go on and jump,yeah
Into the hurricane
You will forger the pain
It's only there
To exorcise your mind

Looking at the world
When you've open up your eyes
You've got to see the promises they've made
They're bloody lies and broken dreams
Your silence screams

Chorus:
You're living in a time machine
And you can choose just who you are
Someone that you've never seen
Somewhere you've never been
You're living in a time machine

Oh what are you gonna do
When every part of you
Just needs to catch the wind

And the fire of burning yesterdays
Can only light the way
To lead you from
The garden of the dark

Looking for the world
When you've opened up your eyes
You'll see you've got invisible chains
They're only lies
Not what it seems
I hear your silent screams

Chorus:
You're living in a time machine
Nobody cares just where you go
Taken where you've never been
??? somewhere you don't know

You're living in a time machine
Why do you stay who you are
Be what you've never been
Someone you've never seen
You're living in a time machine
Yeah

Let´s build a Time Machine and help Ronnie!

  • Yes, this is an incredibly awesome song, but can anyone tell me the difference between the original version and Wayne's World version? My Dehumanizer has 2 "Time Machine"s, and I want to know the difference.

  • @simonsblackmore

Sabbath released the Wayne´s World Time Machine as a Single and they used it for the movie.

This Time Machine is the version for the Album

    Thats the difference

  • Glory Dio Rocks On And On And On Yea

  • @95holydiver I remember the single came out when I was in high school. I thought it was lame then, but listening to it again, it sounds awesome! Black Sabbath still holds its own against the legion of wannabes and clones.

  • incredible LP

  • This is my new theme song!

  • always preferred this version of Sabbath. Of course the purists will swear to the ozzy sabbath everytime. For me it's all about the music. The sound is so different they're like two different bands. I like that they called it Heaven and Hell giving the band it's own identity. As a bassist the two albums have been a great inspiration

  • RIP [*]

  • RJD's vocals & Tony I's riffs & shredding...doesn't get much better than that!

  • I prefer this one over the Wayne's World version :o

  • 2:05 that is the biggest drum set ive seen

  • Dio isn't really that dead. Randy Rhodes, Cliff Burton and John Bonham needed a vocalist. Naturally, Ronnie was the only man with the pipes to do the job. :D
