  • Hi, I agree with you I didn't like that first hysterical spin cycle... but as for the water level you needn't be alarmed, it's not a necessarily fault, It can be triggered by many things, even irregular water pressure or if you changed cycle and there was still some water left in the tub the machine acts as if there was a detergent overdose (don't fret, it has overflow protection).

You've been slagging off this Hoover for quite some time now but it's still there with you today. Take care ;-)

  • @Blanky974 Hi, yeah the spin was pretty scary i must admit lol, but i know it has overflow protection, its just this is the hiighest its been with out added water!! and yeah i know i was slagging it off and i know its still here, its just in all fairness it was just recently repaired again :(. thanks for commenting :D

  • @ilovemiele1 you're welcum :)

Sometimes I wonder if those engineers you had repairing you machine have really repaired it or just made it worse. I'm saying this cos' I have seen a few scenarios in which a Hoover machine is either never needed a repair or needed one after the other. Sadly if your machine keeps allowing unbalanced loads into spin, it might be in for another break down soon. I hope not... of course. Ciao

  • @Blanky974 hmm yeah i know what you mean, although these machines do have a habit of needing new motors and heating elemtnts.. which is what this machine has had but i have noticed, although the bearrings arent bad at all they are unnoticably worse than they were before and the suspension creeks, soim giving it 2 years lol. spins are terrible on this machine its a wonder its still standing. thanks for commenting :)

  • Ok... Its wierd that Hoover isnt better quality than Candy, even Hoover version cost more than Candy... Maybe Candy doesnt want any competition between their own products idk... Anyway if youre not ready to buy new Miele washer... how about a used one that still works well?

  • @Anttikart64 because we want a new machine as our daily runner, so we are probably going to get a bosch or siemens from new

  • hoover washing machines are made for recycle centers!!!

  • Stupid Hoover-Candy machine. At least it didn't explode there and then. I used my first ever Candy machine in Dubai and it was faulty n didnt know wot it wanted to do. Regarding the spins, my AEG used to spin unbalanced like that but cos the machine is sooo heavy it didnt shake like that, only the drum did and smacked the glass a few times in 9 years.

  • @Anttikart64 Its probably because they can sell a cheap machine badged as a Hoover for a higher profit margin then if it was badged as a Candy, its all about what badge it has as opposed to any increase in quality.

  • @Anttikart64 no, i didnt use too much wash detergent, this was the first rinse and it didnt do an interm.

and no, it wasnt too small, because if its unbalanced it usually spends hours balancing trash. so no, its not my fault. its just coz its shitty candy hoover quality thats probably broken.. again.
