Hmm rolling stones and Tom Waits? I think Rolling Stones are pretty outclassed here. Tom Waits is an inspiration.

Waits asked Richards to work with him on Bone Machine... I think his admiration for the Stones is genuine. This clip is great behind-the-scenes footage. Joe Elliot in there is a trip!!! I doubt Joe Elliot even knew who Tom Waits was....

@WinterFist i disagree waits admires the stones..enjoying such songs as I Just Wanna see his face,from exile on main street.
the stones were a chart act... waits.was more of a song writer.

Keith also played on the Tom Waits album Rain Dogs on the track Walking Spanish down the hall. You can hear the Keith riff clearly on that tune. Robert Frank took the Rain Dog cover photos of Tom --many years prior he shot the Rolling Stones (unreleased) film Cocksucker Blues. Rain Dogs is one of my fav Tom Waits albums!
