Voici encore une recette d'El Eid, Lemrouzia, c'est un plat typiquement marocain traditionnel, qui regroupe une saveur salé et sucré.

  • thankyou for your video, it was really yummy!! by the way what is the name of this song, I really like the beat.

  • @Besaha1 Thanks for watching.

The song is " Ya bent enass', the singer is Abdel Hadi Belkheyat.

  • sousou, thank you o much for this but i am outside morocco, and cant find ras al hanout anywhere, any idea what to use to substitue that? and I think the cooking times would be longer if I cooked this in a normal pot rather than a pressure cooker? please answer, thanks

  • It's necessary to use Ras el Hanout in this recipe, you can't substitute it because it contains about 45 spices.

You can use a normal pot, it takes longer of course, you need to check on the sauce each time.

  • Looks good, but i don't know where I can find the Moroccan spice or any smen? Would ghee butter work instead?

  • Check out my channel for the "Smen" recipe.

  • SouSou, is M'rouzia sometimes made with dried plums? When I was in Morocco, I noticed it was always served with fried almonds and plums...is that M'rouzia or something else? I love it both ways, but saw other blogs where they were calling a lamb dish served with plums as a tagine and not m'rouzia...

  • believe or not i once saw the moroccan spices at marshall's in the spices /kitchen section, try you might find it there. good luck

  • @sak87sak87 you can try to order it online, but keep in mind there are different variations. Sort of like garam masala in indian cuisine. You can do a google search and you'll find many stores that will sell it to you and you'll get in quickly.
