  • Was Warren Moon the QB in houston for this game?

  • Story about that game. Late in the game with the Bengals up 58-7 Sam Wyche sent out Breech to kick a field goal. Just before he was about to kick it though Jerry Glanville called time out to ice him! LOL Didn't work as he made it for a 61-7 win. Wow!

  • 0:35 love how the narrator quaintly notes how the Wyche Bengals and Glanville Oilers "hate each other."

  • @domirules28 It wasnt the closing moments. The Bengals were up 14-10 in the 3rd quarter and Burroughs clubbed Tim Mcgee in the head after the play in the end zone to give Cincy a 1st down. It was 3rd and goal play that the Bills stopped but Burrughs gave the Bengals a fresh set of downs and they scored a td to go up 21-10. We did win another playoff game 2 years after this one vs the Oilers in 1990/91.

  • @domirules28 Actually the Bengals dominated the Bills the entire game and won 21-10. The Bills didn't score in the 2nd half and the Bengals played ultra-conservatively. In the final seconds Jim Kelly was intercepted by pro-bowl safety David Fulcher. I dont know what game you are talking about, but it wasn't this one.

  • @scalabrine24 The footage is from UK`s C4 NFL highlight coverage back then, they`ve been covering regular season games over here in UK since 1984. I`ve been a Bengal fan since i saw my first game on TV over here in 1980. Who Dey !!

  • @judgerofwars I know. But still, I was there for this supreme ass kicking, and as a Bengals fan I have to cling to the very, very few bright spots. As a Titans/Oilers fan, I'm sure you know what I mean.

  • @TheSdu2182 I agree with you that Jerry Glanville was one of the biggest assholes. Sam Wyche, however was THE biggest asshole!

  • @Potsie791 you are saying Sam Wyche was an asshole when Jerry Glanville was one of the biggest assholes in the history of the nfl. lol

  • sam wyche and the bengals never won a superbowl, actually cincinnati hasn't won a playoff game since the 1988 afc championship, and even that game was given to them in the form of an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on buffalo defencive back derrick burroughs in the closing moments of the game..
