There have been about 514 leap years since Caeser created them in 45BC, without the extra day today would be July 28, 2013. The Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years, so the world should have ended 7 months ago. Nuff said.

@FRILL3X Bro the Mayan calendar DID account for leap years. I don't buy into all the doomsday crap but the calendar wasn't broken into segments that required an adjustment periodically (every 4 yrs.) It was 1 day (kin) = winal; 18 winal =1 tun; 20 tun = k'atun; 20 k'atun = b'ak'tun; 20 b'ak'tun = piktun or 7885 of our years. Dec. 21 2012 is merely the ending of cycle B'ak'tun.

@Satan23Messenger MAYA in Sanskrit means ILLUSION. All the world around us is Maya (an illusion). So there is no need to get hung up or attached to worldly stuff, as it's all temporary and not even real. Just thought you'd like to know.
