There are a few elements of this video that I ought to change, a few word choices, that kind of thing. I get a bit of flack from christians about the finer details of this, and they're probably justified to some extent.
The thing is, though, the corrections that they say I ought to have included originally DON'T MAKE THE THEOLOGY ANY MORE SENSIBLE! If I had the time, I'd be more than happy to re-make this movie, with whatever corrections christians would have me include. I could do it as true to christian theology as any christians would like me to (that is, if more than a handful of christians could agree on elements of the theology enough to give me a good consensus).
I'd be happy to, because the whole story of vicarious redemption comes out looking just as frigging ridiculous as the 'chocolate/punishing the other siblings until they apologize' scenario.

If Jesus died to save us from the wrath of his Father, angry that humanity is less than perfect, then that only shows what a selfish, vengeful, unjust and malevolent being he must be. Thank goodness it's all just a myth.

  • Aaaahaha dude, quit wasting your time making video's that don't relate to christianity at all. It only further proves your lack of knowledge on the subject.

  • @MrGambito7 And you expect me to just believe you?

How do you know this btw? Were you there? Or do you just believe what your friend told you

  • @MrGambito7 So basically 'god' filters out all the intelligent people that don't just believe what there parents told them, and allows heaven to be filled with idiots that will believe something on no evidence at all? Sounds a bit odd to me.

  • @ScientificBob He found it laying in the streets -_-...

  • @TheLuckyShadow Yes, that's just what we need! God breaks his own commandments!

How about a challenge: find as many of God's acts where he breaks his own law, which i shall dub "sins of God"?

  • @MrGambito7 If the Christian god exists he didn't create evil, he is evil. The most evil character I've ever seen is the god of the bible.

  • @MrGambito7 - "But not everyone can believe without seeing...And that is what pleases God". Based on this logic, then god would be even more pleased if there was no bible, so that believers can be even more blind. Obvious to non-believers, and those who used to be, this doesn't add up.

Life is better without Jesus. My life is like working a manual instead of driving an automatic ( Jesus). People who know how to work a manual become better drivers. My morals aren't book-based.

  • @MrGambito7 - So here's the thing. If all things are possible for god, then he lies. But, why couldn't he have created an enviroment where evil need not exist, and where all available choices to be made, can not be evil? Couldn't he have done that?...So, why wouldn't/didn't he?

Also, if a leader was corrupted, why does god stoop so low, as to call a meeting in heaven to get a lying spirit to lie to a human? Why can't a "good" god be above instigating lies?

  • @MrGambito7 -Correct, We grow, learn, & choose. Choices are what all life on this planet go through. However, why throw evil in the mix? didn't your god understand that we can learn while making choices between nice things? I can actually learn that I like oatmeal more than Farina. There was no evil in that decision. My dog does the same when I present water, & food for him. I never know which he will choose first, but neither choice was evil.
