i will pretty much only be texting, listening to mp3's, using facebook, and maybe the web browser and camera

should i get the cliq for the physical keyboard? or the xt for swype???

The physical keypad will help reduce the number of finger prints because your not always touching your screen

Viewing MOTOROLA's website I noticed the CLIQ XT is selling for $329.99, while the original CLIQ sells for $449.99. Why would the newer of the two sell for $120.00 less? The original CLIQ is better. 'Nuff said.

i have the cliq its way better then the xt the slide out keyboard is amazing...my friend has the xt but shes always having issues with it like freezing and resetting itself all the time.

cliq xt = ugly and still bulky with no keyboard

Oh and if you are getting the cliq once you get it go in to the motorola website and update the phone to android 2.1.you cant do this over the network on the phone because the file is to big. enjoy your phone!

the apps you mentioned ARE FREE.and yes some games available in the android market are motions sensitive.
