Demetria Lovato walked into the office of Joseph Jonas with a smile plastered on her face for a job interview. From what she heard from a friend the pay was great, the job was easy, so all in all it was just a win/ win situation. She went up to the lady behind the desk who had blonde hair that was tied into a high bun. She stood behind the desk with a smile, "Hello, what can I help you with?"
"Hi, I'm Demetria Lovato, I have a job interview with Mr. Jonas?" The lady nodded slowly gesturing to the waiting room which had a couple chairs, "Please sit down and I'll tell him of your arrival."
Demi made her way to one of the closest chairs and pulled out her mirror from inside her clutched. She checked herself in the mirror to see if make-up was out of place or not, it's not like she had much to check since she barely wore much. Everyone had always said that she had the natural looks, her hair which was a light brown fell down her shoulders. She checked her outfit which was a puffy blouse with shorts, that showed off her tan, lean, legs.
After about 50 minutes of waiting Demi couldn't stand it any longer, her job interview was supposed to be at 3:30 but, it was already 4:20 and she was done waiting on someone. She marched back up to the counter where the lady was seated fixing her hair and makeup.
"Hello? What's taking so long? I've been waiting for almost an hour."
"I'm sorry Miss, Mr. Jonas is in a meeting, he'll bet out shortly. Please be patient and return to your seat." Demi rolled her eyes as she made her way back to her seat, grumbling to herself, "she's trying too hard to look good."
Another hour had passed when Demi checked her phone, she brought herself to the blonde secretary's desk once again, "Am I going to meet Mr. Jonas soon? I've been waiting for 2 hours, I have somewhere else to be! I should already be on my way."
"It looks like you're not who we're looking for then, if you're so impatient and have other matters to attend to." Demetria looked over to where to the deep husky voice came from to see a man in a black suit stood letting a man walk out.
"Mr. Jonas..." The blond lady began as the man completely ignored her and spoke up, "Chelsea, Please escort Nick out thank you."
Demetria watched as The two men did a manly hug and watched the blonde who was named Chelsea walk with one of them. She began tapping her foot lightly inhaling and exhaling air, waiting as patiently as she could.
"Well are you going to come in or are you going to stand there and waste both of our times?" Demetria rolled her eyes debating whether or not she should go in. I did just wait two hours, I'm sure Peter can just wait a little longer. It would be worth it, if I do get this job. She thought.
She followed Joe into his office, as he sat behind his desk as Demetria's eyes widen seeing the office. On one side farther away there was a big flat screen with video games. It looked like a big room as well as an office at the same time.
"Sit down." He commanded, Demi did as she was told looking at the man right in front of her. He was handsome, not bad looking. He just had to have that attitude fix and everything would have been perfect.
"May I see your resume?" Demi handed her resume to him, as well as many other documents that would help get her this job, "I think you'll find everything you're looking for."
"Demetria is it?" Joe looked up to her then back down, as Demi nodded, "Yes."
They both were sitted in the silence as Joe looked over her resume and portfolio as Demi sat back, wondering what he would ask, a couple minutes passed when Joe finally spoke up.
"Okay, you got the job, be here tomorrow at 8 am sharp. Have my coffee too, I like it regular."
"I got the job? You didn't even ask me anything?"
"Did you want me too?" Joe asked, eyeing her. Demi was about to shake her head when a phone began to ring, she looked into her bag producing her iphone as she looked at the caller id.
"Excuse me for one moment, sorry." Demi stood and walked as far as she could before picking up the call, "Aunt Dee?"
"Yes?"
"Where are you? I've been waiting for you to pick me up!"
"I'm so sorry Peter, I'm on my way right now, just wait okay? I'll call you when I get there."
"Okay, hurry!" The line went dead as she looked back to her new boss that was staring into his phone looking bored, "Thank you for this opportunity, and as much as I want to go over this new job with you, I have something to attend to. I'll see you tomorrow."
He nodded without a care, "Alright then, see you." Demi grabbed her bag, and straightened out her outfit before walking out of the room, in a complete rush.
