This is all four parts of Eugène Ysaÿe's Sonata for Solo Violin, Op. 27, No. 2, also known as the "Thibaud" sonata, for Jacques Thibaud - his close friend. This performance by Edward Charity, a junior at Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches, was one of three works he played during a solo concert in March 2009.

  • I heard Joshua Bell perform this piece at Jones Hall in Houston back in January. This young man is truly blessed with a god-given gift. I would be honored to perform with him someday. Please post more soon!

  • This music is beautiful!
