Famicom Fairytales: Shin Onigashima (PART 1)

Famicom Fairytales: Shin Onigashima (or simply "Shin Onigashima") is the Famicom Disk System title most of you know as the origin of Donbe & Hikari, who later appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 3, Super Smash Bros. Melee (as one trophy) and Captain Rainbow (only Hikari). Most of you also know this as having a heavy metal version of some of its most popular songs in SSBB.

@1983parrothead Very interesting that you immediately assume someone finds the game weird because they are xenophobic. I've noticed you have a generally condescending view of non-Asian people yourself.

Don't be like that. Compared to NES games most well-known outside of Japan, Shin Onigashima is a text adventure with few graphics. Even Maniac Mansion, another NES adventure game, has more graphical interaction.

That's more likely why someone would find it weird. Not because it's Japanese.
