I am desperate to find a good video of this music I love in order to send it to a friend... every video I find are killing litterally this opus. Keys are easy but beginners cannot play it because they miss the essential qualities : musicality !!!!!!

I return you the compliment !! clair de Lune !!! ahhh!.... and the preludes de Debussy, each key needs the most difficult to obtain when you press a key : the sound that you choose to express exactly the emotion you want to hear...... a specific sound for each specific chord you press.........

You're so totally right! Lots of technically easy (or so) pieces are often very difficult to make them sound beautifully. Same goes, for exemple, for tchaikovsky's June "the seasons". One of the clearest example being Debussy's Clair de Lune. Whilst not very difficult technically, it is extremely difficult to make it sound fluid and beautifull

The bass is supposed to be played legato. It's where all the feeling and emotion in the song come from =)
