  • @yapyapyapyapyap yet the song is still epic! close your eyes and absorb the quality!

  • Pour ce coup là, si ce n’était pas David, je lui dirais bien de se la fermer.

  • @andreasjacke yes, helden is better, cause this include the feeling living near THE WALL. where the east german soldiers kill the own people that will go to the west ....

with french words u can tell much words of love and tenderness, but in german words u can tell much about torture and pain..

  • @lunasspecto the german version is the only authentic, i believe. cause in this time he living near the german WALL in berlin, while eastgerman soldiers killing eastgerman people that will go to westgermany+#

thanks god ... this is history

  • Interesting... Bowie sings the different versions of the song with markedly different vocal styles. The English version is pretty subtle, while the German version has a lot more raw power and the French version is much more laid back and wavering. Also, both the French or German versions are translations only of the single version, and do not include the more cynical verses of the album version. I think "Heroes" / "Helden" (the English-and-German version) is my favorite.

  • toujours aussi belle cette chanson dans n importe quelle langue,,,,,

  • Lorsqu'il chante dans notre langue, on dirait qu'il nous murmure un secret à l'oreille. Curieux.

  • @josbowie Haha I like your answer :) ! Great video !
