Great write. Love the introduction of the ticking clock when death comes along, seemed to give an air of urgency... an urgency to live, now. Rather than wait for death, we should feel ok with it coming when we least expect it : )

Beautifully spoken. Waiting, like happiness, is best when we forget it is happening. Like so many of your poems this is surface simple, but word perfect - it's all in the tenses ;)
