Philthy Animal was a fuckin sid vicious just heavier built and with no appeal, Motörheads drunk clown and it's painful to listen to his comeback late 80's songs (the wolf, I think, is a nightmare and he almost fucks up the otherwise beautiful Eat the Rich). He pulls off all the songs on Overkill tho... Which is weird. But Mikkey Dee is not just more skillfull, he ain't a bit less creative either. Nostalgia ain't enough.

And he got big here because he was heavily promoted by metal and rock bands, all saying he's been underrated for decades. I thought he had a worldwide revival then?
