  • I remember this studio well, Bear kicked my ass a number of times.. to bring in new students.. miss those days..

  • Thankyou for sharing this, it`s important for the new generations to see the real deal from the old school in the representation of proper angulation and leverage that when done right like this is has the kinda flow we should all be striving for, please don`t ever take this down .

  • Song reminds me of "Chocolate Rain". Thanks, Bear!

"Much of this has been lost in some branches of San Soo today."

    Agreed 100%

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • How well I remember these techniques. We were in pretty good shape back then - not too many overweight guys. Today, in my '50's, if I took any one of these falls I'd need neck surgery. Shit, Woolseys students were damn tough.

  • It is great to see (in this footage) the principles and dynamics that are fundamental to the Kung Fu San Soo that was taught when Jimmy Woo was alive. It is very simple in theory as well as in practice. Much of this has been lost in some branches of San Soo today.

  • Thank you for sharing this vintage footage of early San Soo.

  • Old School!
