this version was popular in san diego- i can't speak for the OC or LA. how has it been that long. i remember when mcdonald's had only hamburgers, cheeseburgers, filet-o-fish, fries, and drinks. us kids were jazzed when the big mac was introduced. as a teenager back in ohio, a young man's appetite was often measured in how many macs he could down in one sitting. never got past 3, and, uh, no fries with that...
