  • I got a very similar flashlight.. Bought it from ebay.. 9£ with shipping.. Chinese cloned version of mc10 I think. Actually feels solid and well built, but no memory and the grip got silicone overlay, no defuser.. Fenix is great.. Love my tk20.. My zebralight is also great, but the switch turns on to easy.. Sold my led lensers, I was not impressed..

I love Fenix lights... every one of my Fenix lights has been great, not a single problem.

Thank you for watching, I appreciate it.

  • @X4CTO I was suspicious about the mc10 build quality before I bought this clone.. I have only seen pictus of it.. It so ugly that it actually looks cool. The multi angle head worried me enough that I didn't buy the original.. I may also buy the original now.. Especially if they make a 18650 version with xml led.. This design very is practical.. Magnetic bace works great combined with multi angle head.. Maybe a zoom head wouldn't be a bad idea on this lights big brother..

HAHA! I agree... it is indeed so ugly I like it!

Very high quality light, I've had mine for awhile now and use it quite a bit... no problems at all and it's still working great for me.

  • @X4CTO DealExtreme claims that the the cloned version got 310lumen with 14500 batteries.. I wouldn't even try it out.. Heat sink is way to small and the reflector is led lenser style only with flat front.. It expect it to have around 125-140 lumen with AA.. The output is not that far away from my tk20.. The strobe is brighter.. Maybe close to 200lumen.. Definitely a great gift for 7-9£.

I have never shopped at DealExtreme... not for me to be honest.

I don't much like Amazon either. I have some other outlets from which I get my discounted goods, haha... helps to have friends in the industry too I must say. =)

Yes there is indeed... it's a good little light with some good features in my opinion.

Thank you my friend, I appreciate that. =)

It's very versatile and very well built for sure... all my Fenix lights have been great, never a problem with a single one of them in fact.

The ratcheting angle head mechanism is still holding up well... it's just a little bit broke in I would say, but by no means has it developed play... very robust mechanism. I like it quite a bit overall!

  • Looks like theres alot going on for such a small flashlight, nice and funny review, thanks :D!

Got me interested in this flashlight, looks like perfect all rounder for beginner, looking to buy my first quality LED light and this one seems really versatile. I take function over form any day, and this flashlight looks really beautiful ;)

One question tho, hows the clicky-angling mechanism, is it holding well together or has it worn out?

  • Absolutely! Great little light for certain applications... I reach for this light when working on the car or under cabinets, desks, etc... very versatile light.

Yeah I just noticed the tailcap lockout feature by accident the other day... pretty nice little extra feature.

You're welcome... and thank you for watching it! =)

  • Great light indeed! btw the tail cap has a safety feature, undue a tiny bit and it wont turn on.. Thanks for the review.
