Piano Yanni To Take To Hold

This is absolutely my favorite piano song. I taught myself piano solely to play this. I'm no where near what Yanni is, but I thought I'd share anyway ;-P Unfortunately, you only get to hear about 75% of the song by me. My camera's batteries died when this clip ends! :-( Still hope you enjoy. Maybe I'll post a full version later. :-)

I guess my talent level is relative. Some people hear me play, and they say I'm really good or advanced. Others consider me a beginner because I've never had any formal lessons and just sound out music or teach myself with sheet music.

I bought a yamaha keyboard last year with the same intentions as you... and that was to play Yanni. I even signed up for piano lessons. My left hand seems possessed by another person (a very unco-ordinated person) How long did it take you to learn this?

I practiced about 2-3 hours a day for roughly a month to learn this song. Maybe spent a little more time on the weekends.

the notes aren't perfect, but you play with more feeling/emotion than most amateurs. the notes will come in time.

Maybe there are some pauses but there is nothing wrong with the notes!! Great job!! :)
