A quick video test using my Panasonic GF2 micro four-thirds camera and a Canon 50mm f1.8 FD mount lens mounted using an adapter I got off ebay. The video is just a bunch of stuff I shot after work with some work mates.
Because it's a full manual lens, you can change aperture and focus while video is shooting, unlike the kit lenses. The video from this clip is completely un-altered, straight out of the camera.
Because the lens becomes a 100mm equiv. telefocal prime, it shakes a fair amount without stabilization.
