This is a high standard of striking compared to many higher numbers bands I have heard!

Aye that is unusual. More and more heavy rings are opting for this, because, like at Coventry Cathedral, the tenor clappers break far too regularly! Last time our tenor clapper snapped was just above the ball. We can only assume the ball fell into the bell and got flung out as we found it some distance from the bell.

Yes they do sound reallly lovely, obvioulsy uploaded to youtube doesn't do the audio track justice. One intereting feature of the bells is that the shaft of the clapper on the tenor is made from wood and the ball and flight are bolted on.
Very unusual.

Good bells and a very good piece of ringing. Nice to see some decent ringing on YouTube for a change. Ho Ho Ho

Thanks for the comments, and I agree about ringing on youtube ringing. Next I want to set up the camera in the belfry, I can adjust audio level on camera so it wont distort.
I think some people use crappy mobile phones half the time.
