  • I use a 1spot adaptor...which is identical to a 9v battery when plugged into the battery input. Fragility (is that a word?) isn't an issue for me...I treat my pedals like hypersensitive babies. THEY CANNOT GET HURT.

  • I may be crazy or deaf, but I still like the way the Big Muff sounds.

  • I prefer the Muff.

  • i have probles with the shoes,,,, that confuseme

  • The Muff sounds best to me

  • @kynoceph

    +1 Meee Tooo

Why doesn't he do chords ?

  • @blueleadguitar You'll have to look up specific units for information on what they can handle. If your adapter has one long cord with multiple outputs on it, they are obviously not isolated. There are also several adapters on the market that might look like they have isolated outputs but don't. The Voodoo Labs products should be fine. Aside from protecting your investment you'll probably notice that you're getting less noise.

  • I definitely like the Fuzzy Lady better! I want to know how the Fuzzy Lady compares to the Tone Wicker Big Muff.

  • @lolsillymadchristian I have the One Spot and I thought it has isolated outputs, or am I wrong? Would a Voodoo Lab or PedalPower 2 be a better bet, can I run 9 effects from either the Voodoo Lab or PP2?

  • BIGG MUFFFFFFFF!!!!

  • A 1spot will fry your pedals if something goes wrong. What you want is an adapter with isolated outputs like the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power. Just saying.

  • Jack, can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE compare the Fuzzy Lady with the Tone Wicker Big Muff???

  • muff wins

  • I love having Jack Black do gear reviews. :D

lol love ur vids man. :)

  • little big muff

  • Fuzz aint supposed to buzz, it's supposed to fall apart in it's chaos. I find a lot of fuzz pedals sounding to much like metal pedals these days. The Big Muff was the pedal for me here. Fuzz aint meant to be musical. It's an effect. I'm grumpy. lol

  • @hesquadraphonic PS, meant rather overdrive than compr.

  • @hesquadraphonic LoL thanks! since i asked that i had one day forgotten to hook it to the power and just mechanically pressed on it and it freaked me to see the LED lighting up :D, never thought one can unscrew the back and put battery there and mine obviously was shipped with battery...

BTW the sound is very neat, it kinda sounds like square wave of the original sound with some harminics added. Interesting thing is that now that i try it with weak battery it sounds almost like low-gain compr.

  • @hallobaaaby It can run on a 9v battery.

  • the big muff gives u a heavier distortion. the fuzzy lady costs more but it can be a heavier fuzz or a lighter fuzz.

  • Nice deom! Is the pushbutton of you Lil Big Muff as noisy as mine? BTW how did you put power into the Muff (i see the LED but nothing plagued in the back?)

  • i like em both

  • @nascarbean All are completely different.

  • more mids it seems like on the fuzzy lady...imo i would go with the big muff

  • Blue box vs Big muff vs Fuzz face PLEASE DO IT!!!!! ROCK ON!

  • The dude sounds too much like jack black
