FIRST NIGHT (COSI): Sarah's new movie at Glasgow Film Festival
Sarah's new movie, "FIRST NIGHT" will be screened at the Glasgow Film Festival on Feb 27.
It's being released in cinemas on Oct 14th in the UK - can't wait.
The movie is directed by Christopher Menaul, and stars Richard E Grant, Sarah Brightman, and Mia Maestro. Below is the synopsis for the movie:
Life imitates art in this frisky romantic charmer which was shot amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of Manderston House in Duns. Wealthy industrialist Adam (Richard E Grant) has always dreamt of playing Don Alfonso in a production of Mozart's comic opera Cosi Fan Tutte. He makes the dream a reality by inviting a cast of talented amateurs to stage a production at his stately abode under the direction of the long-suffering Celia (Sarah Brightman).
The opera's themes of love, jealousy and mistaken identity are repeated in real life as love is in the air and relationships are forged and tested to the limit. An effortlessly entertaining romp with some stunning singing from Scottish National Opera.
