Fish Hunter boat with a homemade motor mount and bench seat made out of 'contractor' scraps picked up at Home Depot for $6.xx.

30lb Endura hooked up to a 120 A/H deep cycle, you can go all day on this battery!

  • how fast can you get it going on your boat??? also do you think a 40lb thrust will be moch more powerfull?

  • @patnyay14 i'd say it goes about 6mph full tilt, a 40lb thrust would maybe power it up to 7-7.5mph.

  • Real quick, can you explain to me exactly what kind of battery you have? Also how to you connect the battery to the motor? Do you use a breaker in between? Do you have a separate starter and a marine deep cycle battery? Please im hunting for information as to how to set my boat up correctly thanks.

  • @washn2hiphop40 it's a maintenance deep cycle from wal-mart, the biggest i could get because i'm not always around a charge source for a few days.

  • hey man what kind of pipe did you use? nice boat!

  • copper tubing. and thanks

  • nice boat i have the fish hunter 250

  • @BeigarthTV boat weighs about 50lbs, the battery much more. capacity is over 800 lbs forsure.

2 people plus gear is about all this will do... them calling it a '6 person' on the box is insane.

  • Do you have a wood floor in this?

  • Thanks for posting this! I'm really looking forward to finally getting my motor onto the inflatable boat. Feels good to have things out of storage. Thanks for the helpfull comment posts. Best luck.

  • These little boats with a electric motor on them is just pure fun! i can sneak up on fish, or other wild life, and get some great pic,s. pvc pipe is a cheap way to stiffen these boats and add a electric motor, have a look.

  • how did you make your motor mount i agree 50 dollars is rediculous please get back to me
