This demo - from Pattie Maes' lab at MIT, spearheaded by Pranav Mistry - was the buzz of TED. It's a wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment. Imagine "Minority Report". For more information visit - http://www.ted.com/

now imagine the military upgrading this to virtually view anything such as thermal, night vision, or even xray FOV.
not only that, it's all fixed to a headset piece like you would see on the game ghost recon advanced war fighter..... considering the fact that they are making tech based on movies, and on video games nowadays.

Once this gets off the ground you can bet your bottom dollar it's going corporate and will cost more money or even will be put into obsurity by the big business concerns. do you actually think Bill Gates and the rest of the computer corporations will lwt this happen... or better yet... let this become availble to the masses without their involvemnt. Good Luck but it will most likely get squashed before you will ever get a chance to won one. The good news is India is involved already!!!!
