My "The Lonesome Picker Rides Again" LP got so worn that guys like Dave had to emerge to carry on the bloodlines. I ain't from herer. At one time in my life, sun rose and set between Bodega bay and Imperial Beach .Add Blasters and stir.

this is soooo awesome...my mike greene would have been the 7th generation californian if he was born in cali instead of fort worth texas. lol then he met me..omg. his dad is in his 80s now and from the san fernando valley many moons ago. world war ii and an engineer for at&t moved him to fort worth many years ago. what a ironic world we live in.

It's great stuff , i'm a massive Dave Alvin fan but can i just urge you all to seek out the album California Bloodlines by John Stewart (where the original version appears) , it is a classic album which has been overlooked and does not have a bad song on it . It's as good as Dave's "Blackjack David" album and we all know how great that is !
