With the Kibaki succession slowly dominating local politics, talk on the formation of political alliances set to serve as vehicles to power for some of the country's leading politicians have also hit the headlines. This week the focus has been on the peace turned political rally in Eldoret attended by over 60 mps and graced by President Mwai Kibaki where some of the speakers lashed out at Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The premier has warned his detractors not to write him off. And Sheila Sendeyo discovered that reactions to the mooted KKK alliance continue with NARC Kenya chairperson Martha Karua criticizing the Eldoret meeting and challenging Uhuru Kenyatta to a political duel.
MARTHA KARUA IS THE ONLY CREDIBLE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR 2012

@shattyDiablo.The group Hon.Raila addressed composed of rural folks who neither understand English nor Kiswahili. So how did you want RAO to communicate to them
What he said is this, "there are some older people who are more knowledgeable than the youth.
You will find somebody young in body and years but their way of thinking is too old and outdated. So we ask them if you want to lead Kenya say what new idea for development of this Country which you think we don't have".

it is so sad, but Hon Raila taught kenyans tribal politics in 2007, when he gathered all the kenyan tribes against the kikuyus. Ruto, kalonzo and uhuru are students of Bwana Raila. Now come 2012, Hon raila will have a taste of his own medicine.Unfourtunately, kenya politics is tribal, and the truth is even in 2012,kenyans will vote along tribal lines.Hon Raila should be very worried, it seems that his students were fast leaners.

This alliances now are not about who's going to lead Kenya come next elections. It's about protecting the "suspects on the Ocampo list". Wake up Kenyans!
