I hate working on modern cars. All the components are 'shoe horned' into the engine compartment. I just recently replaced the washerfluid tank and pump on my 03 Silverado. I made the mistake of not connecting the wiring connector to the pump before bolting the tank in. That was a pain trying to get the connector to line up with the socket. I finally gave up and unbolted it and dropped it down far enough to connect it. My hands just would not fit the space.

I miss my old 86' Silverado. The bottle was in plain sight and easy to get to. My 91' I could read the trouble codes just by hooking a jumper between a couple of the sockets on the interface connector. I just ordered a code reader to use on the 03. It has over a 120k so I figure I will needing one more and more. The last time I took it to a garage to check the codes, I paid $65 to find out I needed a $12 gas cap.

And I thought the blower motor on my 2002 Grand Prix was a pain in the ass. Had to lay upside down on the passenger seat to get to it, it was so far down on the firewall. At least I didn't have to remove the alternator!

thanks. I love my beretta she is shit and get and I am gonna ride that horse till it drops dead. This video confirmed my worst fears about how much of a pain in the ass this job would be but it gave me hope that it would all be fine in the end. How long would you say it took you to do this whole job?

Respond to this video... We have about 10,000 downloads of the shows in the first few that we've done, so if you don't want more people to know about your work here on Youtube that's ok by me... Just thought you'd like to talk some cars with us.
