There is a chrome extension called Disconnect, which among many other privacy features has the ability to depersonalize searches across the web. Google also offers opt-out extensions of it's own, one of which depersonalizes your searches through their engine. I use both of these, as well as a few of the other Google ones, AdBlock, ChromeBlock, and Widgetblock.
